To Sausage or Not To Sausage?

Decided to take the kids to McDonalds this morning to hit up the dollar menu. On the way I asked Red if he wanted a sausage biscuit or a sausage mcmuffin. He looks at me in all seriousness and asked "Which one has sausage? I want the one that has sausage." I told him that he couldn't have both only one and he said, "I know, and I want whichever one comes with sausage." That's when I realized that he wasn't pulling my leg. He was dead serious! OMG! I laughed sooooo hard!

As the mother to four kids, I am very well aware of the smells that they sometimes let loose. What has me totally thrown out of the loop is the smells that my 2 month old creates! I swear that Prince is just straight rotten! I mean, he was 2 weeks late and we had to issue him an eviction notice and even then we weren't sure that he would obey. But c'mon! Did going past ripe really start to make him rot from the inside out? That's how my whole house smells at times and this is within seconds of deposit. WOW!

We woke up this morning to some awesome cool temps. It felt so good that we turned off the ac's and opened up the house. Of course since the sun was out the kids wanted to jump into the pool. Nope, not that early. Now they are in it and having a great time. Soon though they will be getting out to gem mine. For anyone who has no idea what that is, you really should check it out! The kids love it! It's like finding the prize at the bottom of the cereal box but your prizes are worth so much more. We know a man that gets dirt shipped straight from the gem mines in North Carolina. He seperates what he gets into different size bags and containers and then you go on your own treasure hunts. He likes to salt it for us! We have found everything from ruby's to obsidion, citrine to opals, garnets to amethysts. Dragon knows how to cut them and shine them and now if teaching himself to wire wrap. It is a really cool hobby for our family. The kids even get excited when they find fools gold. That is the funniest.
Well, while they have some fun I guess I am going to finish up some laundry before Dragon has to pack up for his trip.
